Olivia is 18 months old!!

WOW!! My baby girl is definitely a toddler. Everyday, Olivia continues to amaze me. Why I was blessed with such a smart, well-behaved child, I will never understand.
This month Olivia:
- loves to talk!! The amount of things she knows and can communicate blows my mind. She knows animal sounds, numbers and body parts. You can ask her where knee is and she will show you. I don't know why this amazes me as much as it does but as her mama I always think of her as the helpless little baby she once was
- is starting to recognize names and faces. Our weekend trip to see both sides of the family really helped. She is getting better with names like Nelly, B, Molly. She still says Hamma instead of Grandma but we'll work on it. The best part was that she was starting to put the names and faces together. You can ask her where her Papa is and she will point him out in a crowd.
- loves to play independently. She goes to her room and plays with her toys for hours, popping out occasionally to check that we are still there. She also loves to sit and colour. Sharing is definitely something that we will have to work on in the next few months as she has gotten into a "MINE" stage
- loves to try new foods. For the longest time Olivia's diet was pretty much the same thing over and over. She now loves eggs for breakfast or cereal with milk. She loves to eat soup for lunch, although she has not quite mastered the spoon.
