5 weeks

It has already been almost a week since Olivia turned one month old. We celebrated that day with her baby shower. She got tons of great stuff. Clothes, toys and shoes!! Omigod, she got the cutest pink cowboy boots I have ever seen. My favorite gift so far has been my new Peanut Sling. She's sleeping in it right now. It's so nice to have use of both my arms back. And we should be able to keep using it until she's a toddler. A big thanks to everyone who made to the shower.
Olivia is getting so big.....10 lbs 8 oz today! She is starting to smile and not only when she has gas, it's so cute. She is starting to actually focus on objects around the room and not just stare randomly into space. When she sits in her bouncy chair, she actually looks at the bears hanging in front of her, it's like a whole new chair to her. She has also become very "chatty"....she is definitely finding her voice and I think she loves to hear herself "talk". She loves to coo and grunt at us. It won't be very long until she is holding her head up all the time, she loves pushing herself up and looking over your shoulder. She's been doing since the day she was born but now will hole herself there for a long time She actually enjoys tummy time every day. It is getting to be so much fun to hang out with her everyday and watch as she discovers the world around her for the first time. Cam comes home from work everyday to me telling him some milestone of the day and it's no longer how many poops she had and what color they were. We spend everyday anxiously waiting for her next big moment.
