The Thanksgiving weekend was definitely a busy one for little Olivia. Her first big road trip and visit to Grandma and Grandpa Klettke's house. Friday afternoon we left for Edmonton. Olivia does very well in the car. We had to make a couple stops to feed her and for Cam to have a smoke break, we still made it from Medicine Hat to Edmonton in about 6 hours. She didn't sleep very well Friday night but she had been sleeping all day. Fortunately I got an extra hour of sleep Saturday morning because there were plenty of people to take her for awhile. Saturday we went to Scott and Tamara's wedding.....it was so beautiful. Olivia was so well behaved, she slept through the whole ceremony, Cam and I got so many compliments about how well behaved our little girl is. She was fussy during dinner and the speeches but that's what Grandma's are for. We got to enjoy the dance for a couple hours while she slept and left for Nikki's again around 11. She must have been really played out from all the attention and noise because she slept from 11:30 to 5:30 and then from 6 to 8.....I was overjoyed!! So much sleep in one night!! She is a very good sleeper to begin with but I definitely felt spoiled with the extra hour or two. Sunday we went for brunch with Cam's Uncle Bob and Aunty Pat, Cousin Sandra & George, Marcelo and Elizabeth. Elizabeth is growing so fast and she is such a cutie. After brunch, we headed to Stettler. Olivia slept the entire way. She got lots of cuddle time in with everyone, especially Grandpa as he had not seen her since the day she was born. He even got to give her the Vitamin D drops that she loves! Her special treat, she licks her lips and takes them so slowly so she can really enjoy them. We came home yesterday and she slept from Stettler to the Hat again. It is nice to be home after such a busy weekend. It's funny how much stuff you have to pack with a baby, our car was full. All that travelling was hard on me too. Sitting for all those hours was hard on my stomach, which has been feeling great, and it was definitely a lot more activity than I am used but it was a really fun weekend.
